Allen) Alderman, 45, of Wallingford, entered into eternal rest on Monday March 4, 2019 at YNHH. Born on May 11, 1973, in New Haven, the daughter of Diana (Buckmiller) Pirovane of Hamden and Alfred Allen Sr. of New Haven. Loving wife of Jeffrey Massey of Wallingford for over 15 years. Cherished mother of Dean Desabrais of Wallingford. Beloved sister of Alfred Allen Jr. of FL., Barbara (Shawn) Goodspeed of East Hampton, and Blake Rice of Wallingford. Clark-Williams Funeral Home with burial in Haven Rest.Mr. Beck, 67, died at Grace Health and Rehab on Feb. 15, 2019. He was born on Nov. 17, 1954. Mr. Beck enjoyed hunting and fishing.Mr. Beck is survived by his sister Diane Topps of Grenada and brother Willie Sanders Beck of Sacramento, Calif.Clark-Williams Funeral Home was in charge of services.Marcus C. GrimesMarcus Cleveland Grimes Jr., 92, of Grenada, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2019, in Hoover, Ala.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at Friendship Baptist Church. Interment with military honors will follow at the Woodlawn Memorial Park.The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Visitation will be Saturday from 9 a.m. until service time at Oliver Funeral Home.Mr. Massey, 85, died at Life Pointe Village in Southaven on Feb. 26, 2019. He was born in Zama, Miss., on Feb. 6, 1934, to John E. and Myrtle DuBard Massey. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and the Vietnam War, retiring after 20 years of service with the rank of Sergeant First Class. During his time in the Army he earned several medals and commendations, including a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster. After retiring from the Army, Mr. Massey owned and operated a machine tool service and sales business for many years. He was a member and deacon of Bethlehem Baptist Church near Kilmichael and a 32nd Degree Mason.Mr. Massey is survived by three sons, Michael Massey of Biloxi, Tony Massey of Horn Lake and Greg Massey of Greenwood; sisters, Jane Magnusson of Minnesota and Anna Louise Jones (Jimmy) of Grenada; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces a...
